Community practice with direct participant care

Yoga classes for Gurgaon housing societies

A structured 21-day launch, morning and evening batch options, direct registration and a minimum viable group.

The launch model

  1. Weekend orientation and simple mobility screen.
  2. Direct participant registration and consent.
  3. Twenty-one-day foundations programme.
  4. Recurring batch only after 12–15 paid participants.
  5. Quarterly community workshop and progress check.

WHO recommends regular physical activity and reducing sedentary time, while recognising that the appropriate type and amount differ across individuals.1 A society batch is one accessible delivery format; it is not a universal prescription.

Safety in a mixed group

Yoga is generally considered safe when practised appropriately, but age, pregnancy and health conditions can change what is suitable.2 The general batch therefore avoids treating residents as medically identical.
