Workplace movement and recovery

Corporate yoga programmes in Gurgaon

From a well-designed introductory workshop to a measured four-week pilot and recurring workplace programme.

Start with a work-life problem, not a cure claim

WHO identifies desk-based office work as a common example of sedentary behaviour.1 Satv programmes focus on practical participation themes: mobility breaks, neck-and-shoulder movement, breath and attention, and recovery routines.

Introductory workshop

The Desk-Bound Body: a 45-60 minute guided session with registration and follow-up.

Four-week pilot

Eight sessions, intake, participation tracking and an aggregate summary.

Monthly programme

Recurring sessions, agreed capacity, replacement teacher and review.

Leadership or small team

Private sessions for teams needing flexible timing and smaller numbers.

What evidence can - and cannot - say

A small randomized trial of 48 university employees studied six weeks of workplace yoga and reported wellbeing and stress-resilience outcomes.2 Another office-worksite Hatha-yoga trial found improved flexibility but did not support its primary heart-rate-variability hypothesis.3 These studies support careful testing, not guaranteed workforce outcomes.

Programme measurement

  • Registrations and consented follow-up
  • Attendance and repeat participation
  • Optional self-rated mobility and stress
  • Safety incidents and instructor substitution
  • Conversion from workshop to pilot and retainer
Employers receive aggregate participation information unless an individual explicitly authorises a different use. Personal health responses are not included in routine HR reports.
Practice safely. Satv Yog provides yoga education and guided wellbeing practice—not diagnosis, emergency care or a guaranteed treatment.
